At the heart of product development is co-founder and cosmetic chemist Tracey Ryan. With a background in Herbal Science, a Diploma in Cosmetic Chemistry and more than a decade of formulation experience, Ryan approaches skincare as both science and art. Every DOCTRINE formula is developed in-house under her direction, allowing the brand to retain close control over performance, texture and the overall experience of use.

Alongside her, Mark O’Sullivan brings more than 15 years of experience across the British and Irish skincare industries, leading the brand’s commercial development with an instinct for products that balance efficacy with desirability.

Caoimhe Donoghue shapes DOCTRINE’s voice and digital world. Her focus is clarity: removing the confusing language, fear-based marketing and greenwashing that too often surround modern beauty. Together, the founders have created a distinctly Irish skincare house with a contemporary international outlook—expertly informed, honest and quietly confident.

When skin calls for greater comfort, REPAIR Barrier Repair Cream provides a richer, cocooning layer. Calendula, comfrey, green tea and Physavie® help soothe the appearance of redness and support stressed or sensitised skin, leaving it feeling calm, cushioned and restored.
